Vivienne Westwood is the face of British design so who better to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth than the devoted designer?
Westwood has just unveiled her beautifully unexpected range in celebration of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee called The Red Carpet Capsule Collection. The collection was inspired by gowns that the Queen herself has worn and slightly veers away from the typical Vivienne Westwood designs with calmer colouring and softer cuts. The fabrics used are fit for a Queen, think silk satins and taffeta and come in a range suitable for any occasion from cocktail dresses to bridal-esque floor sweepers. The pieces will be available in Vivienne Westwood stores from May.
